A continuation of our popular “Fun With Things That Fly” class, “More Fun With Things That Fly” challenges the kids to make all new flying inventions while exploring aerodynamics and how objects move through the air. Students make, test, and reinvent the Da Vinci Flying Machine, Paper Plane Launchers, and Levitating Balls (to name a few) while exploring the laws of physics and the forces that keep objects afloat. Lessons will be just “plane” fun!
Drop off any time between 12:45 and 1:00 PM.
Pick up between 3:45 and 4:00 PM. Or sign up for one of our extended day options and pick up by 5:00 or 5:45 PM.
Students enrolled in both the morning and afternoon sessions should bring a lunch plus at least (2) snacks. Lunch Supervision is included at no additional charge for full day students. Half day students may bring a lunch and come at noon by adding Lunch Supervision.
We believe that learning is at its best when kids are excited, having fun, and exploring with other kids. Our classes encourage students to teach each other and learn together. Our lessons help students explore, grow, and gain confidence in STEAM topics. Our students gain the ability to navigate and succeed in our increasingly tech-driven society.
Our curriculum consists of unique activities designed to teach, challenge and allow for creative exploration.
Our classes span multiple STEAM categories, encouraging students to combine learning and techniques from many disciplines in ways they don’t usually encounter in school.
